    Every Friday the Kalamazoo Valley Museum will remain open until 10 p.m. with movies, concerts, and special event in the theater and U2 laser light shows in the planetarium.


    Movies and laser shows are $3 per person; concerts in the theater are $5 per person.

  • 2010 Michigan Winter Beer Festival

    The Fifth Annual 2010 Winter Beer Festival - Grand Rapids 

    Presented by the Michigan Brewers Guild

    When:  Saturday, February 27, 2010 from noon to 5 p.m.
               Enthusiast Members of the Michigan Brewers Guild will be allowed to enter the Festival an hour early at 11:00am

    Where: Fifth Third Ballpark, just north of Grand Rapids.

    Admission is $35 in advance and $40 at the gate,

    More than 35 Michigan microbreweries and brew pubs to participate with more than 200 different beers to sample. 

    Purchase tickets from the Michigan Brewers Guild Web site, the Whitecaps Web site, at participating member breweries and at select retail outlets (locations will be posted on The Mash as they become available).
